Dr. Lajuana Moody Davis is a native of Macon, Georgia. She is the elder of two daughters of Pastor and Mrs. Ralph Cherry.  Dr. Davis began in music ministry at the early age of six, and served as musician and choir directress for several local churches in Ga.  She totally committed her life to Christ and first began ministering at Women\u2019s Retreats and seminars as a freshman at Florida State University, and has been on the move for the Lord since that time.  She served as full-time Minister of Music for several Air Force Bases, domestically and abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top:6.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family:Calibri; font-size:14pt\">Dr. Davis holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminology and a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management, and Doctor of Divinity degrees.  She has done further study in theology in Columbia South Carolina.  Dr. Davis was licensed in 1999 by the Bible Way Church of Atlas Road, Bible Way Churches World Wide, and ordained to the Gospel Ministry in January 2006, at the New Life Anointed Ministries International in Woodbridge, Virginia, under the pastorate of Bishop Eugene V. Reeves.  During her twenty year career as a civil servant, she has been blessed to minister in five different countries, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and in song.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top:12.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family:Calibri; font-size:14pt\">Currently Dr. Davis serves as Co-Pastor of God\u2019s House Baptist Ministry in Roanoke, Virginia, where her husband, Rev. Dr. Floyd W. Davis is the Founding Pastor.  She is the mother of 2 children, Justin and Peaches, and the Grandmother of one, Jaylen.
